RV Roof Installation Process
Our RV roof restoration process is built like a workflow, not a guess. The goal is to remove leak paths, reinforce transitions, and install a continuous waterproofing system that holds up under RV movement and UV.
Step-by-step workflow
Exact steps vary based on roof type and condition, but the logic stays the same: prep for adhesion, engineer the details, and create a continuous system that remains serviceable.
Assessment & scope confirmation
We verify roof type, prior coatings/repairs, seam condition, and penetration details. Photos establish scope before work begins.
Prep: clean and remove failed materials
The roof is cleaned and de-contaminated. Failed sealants and loose materials are removed so the new system bonds to stable substrate.
Detail engineering: seams, edges, penetrations
Seams, corners, edge rails, vent bases, skylights, and A/C curbs are detailed with reinforcement where required to reduce cracking from RV movement.
System build: continuous membrane strategy
We install the restoration system across the field and integrate it into the details to form a unified waterproofing layer.
Cure planning & protection
Cure is managed around temperature and weather so the finish and adhesion remain consistent.
Final inspection & documentation
We verify terminations and penetrations, capture final photos, and close out with a consistency check.
Serviceability note
RV roofs need future component work — vents, skylights, A/C service, solar upgrades. We plan details so re-termination can be done correctly without turning every service visit into a full roof rebuild.
